aren’t these floral pants FABULOUS??? everything i want in a pant…high waisted, long length to cover my shoes, flaredness. LOVES! one of my favorite places to shop are actually church rummage sales! i got these at a jewish temple $6 bag night. i managed to fit 11 pieces of clothing (including 2 sweaters), a scarf, 2 handbags & a hat into their paper grocery bag. so, these pants cost me…oh…a big ol’ 40 cents!

the boots again? i’m kinda lazy these days. it’s freezing cold & it’s easy to just throw these boots on since they’re near the doorway rather than hunt in my closet for higher heels. plus the leather is finally getting more supple, more distressed, more worn…ahhh, perfect :)

isn’t this dress another cutie? i decided to showcase it again since its debut here on give me platforms was not under the best of lighting conditions. i considered hemming it shorter, just like i need to do to yesterday’s dress, but i’m kinda digging the covering the tops of my boots look, more demure, more modest, more old ladyish, since let’s face it, i’m no spring chicken :)

aren’t the print & colors of this dress great? i love muted blues & purples. it’s another great transition fall to winter dress :) to keep me warmer though, of course i threw on my new ABSOLUTE love…the DIY claire huxtable cape!

so, why do i now love church rummage sales? first of all, massive, massive amounts of stuff!!! plus different things to see since i tend to go to the same thrift shops all the time. but the BEST thing? better than goodwill prices. this dress was a whole one dollar!
