  4. ↔ × → i was fine with bare legs (kinda) during the day with the sun out, but since it was so cold tonight & i went out to dinner with friends, i was totally lazy & didn’t really want to change, so i just put on a pair of skinny jeans under this dress & called it a night :)

  8. ↔ × → i tend not to dress appropriately for the weather because i drive everywhere. i’m lucky that way in that i don’t live or work in boston proper & don’t have to rely on public transportation. that being said, i tend to not wear the hats, scarves or gloves i often buy because i just go from driveway to parking lot to another parking lot back to driveway. this rodarte for target rain coat has NO thickness to it whatsoever, so i might be a little cold out there :)

  9. ↔ × → speaking of this rodarte for target rain coat…i just discovered a new way to save money as if i already wasn’t such a cheap clothes whore. i bought this rain coat when it first came out, but obviously being a spring item, i just hung it in my closet, tags & all…waiting for that appropriate nice day. two months later, now that RforT items are going on clearance…i found the same coat, same size in the racks for less than TEN DOLLARS! i bought it right away & thank heavens for target’s 90-day return policy. i brought the original coat back & voila…just like that, got my $30 back :)

  10. ↔ × → i think this was the third burger i tried which ended up being the one i voted for my most favorite. it was tyler potter’s burger (from the lower depths). what made it a winner for me? bacon…tons & tons of bacon. cos who doesn’t like salty meat on top of more meat?

  11. ↔ × → for presentation however, the guys from the bristol lounge killed it! their burger had the cutest onion ring on top! it’s too bad that at this point, this was my 10th burger (when i say burger, i really mean sliders or a quarter of a burger), but still…i was dying at this point. eating 10 mini burgers is like 2-1/2 whole burgers…plus all the fancy aioli or chipotle sauces, pickles, slaw & what have you condiments. let’s just say, i might not be hungry again for a whole week!

  13. ↔ × → just realized how many “high end designer” for “insert low end store” brands i’m wearing…rodarte & mcq for target. alice + olivia for payless. kinda crazy. i think it’s all great though. even if i had tons o’ money, i don’t think i could spend thousands of dollars for a single dress or piece of clothing. shoes & handbags…YES. clothes? nah…target suits me just fine or the thrift store down the street :)

  14. ↔ × → i’m sad to report, i’m wearing jeggings. yes, don’t judge. they were cheap at target (seriously cheap…like almost see through cheap), so just had to try them. in case you were wondering where i fall in the leggings as pants debate, even if you are stick thin, leggings are not pants! then just wear pants! i love to wear leggings, but i have enough sense to keep all areas covered if you know what i mean! so, remember even the young & beautiful like sophie monk can be victims of camel toe (or hungry butt) & no one needs to see that!
