  3. ↔ × → i love, love, LOVE this color combo…this sort of teal/peacock/cobalt blue with a bright red. i like the vibrant colors, but not really primary colors. i’ve actually liked this mix of colors for a long time. this is definitely my favorite print that nirva showed. this is also my favorite model. to use all the model-isms, she “werqed” it & gave good face!

  4. ↔ × → of all the looks…this is my absolute FAVORITE! so, of course this blue & red silk print is TDF, but with the yellow silk straps, it just pops! it wasn’t even her showcase last piece! but i’m calling this one…the BEST! it’s called the “amara.”

  7. ↔ × → i really love the cuffs on this red sweater. it seems so stereotypically asian, but i do enjoy wearing oriental-inspired clothing…rich & colorful silks, embroidered flowers, brocade fabrics, kimono & obi sashes…who wouldn’t?

  8. ↔ × → even as the days get colder, shorter & windier, i’m really happy that camel is going to be a BIG color for fall. i still have tons of camel-colored clothes (like these pants) from the LAST time that camel was the new black, so i’m kind of all set in that regard. the only wish i still have left is a proper camel poncho or shawl. since i can’t find the one that h&m teases us with mercilessly on their commercials, i may just have to knit one myself!

  9. ↔ × → it’s funny how things in one’s life kind of align at particular moments. i bought this necklace on another thrifting excursion & it kind of reminded me of an amulet or something worn during one of those renaissance fairs. the hotel we’re staying at in new hampshire actually looks like a castle. it has turrets, medieval knight themed tapestries around & even suits of armor!

  11. ↔ × → i’m soooo not a matchy-matchy person when it comes to jewelry sets. do you know people like that (like my mom)? who have to buy the whole set…the earrings that match the necklace that match the bracelet that match the ring. when i first scoped out these earrings, the lady at the thrift store said there was a matching necklace & pulled it out (see above). i was sold.

  13. ↔ × → fun end of summer espadrille ankle wrap wedges! i wouldn’t really buy anything summery anymore, but i couldn’t resist these sam edelmans for $20…whaaaaaat? didn’t even have to pull out any plastic…hahaha! plus i don’t have any shoes in these rich red tones & greens, so would still be appropriate for the semi-warm/cool days of fall. of course with it being 95 degrees today, that feels a LONG way off.
