aren’t these floral pants FABULOUS??? everything i want in a pant…high waisted, long length to cover my shoes, flaredness. LOVES! one of my favorite places to shop are actually church rummage sales! i got these at a jewish temple $6 bag night. i managed to fit 11 pieces of clothing (including 2 sweaters), a scarf, 2 handbags & a hat into their paper grocery bag. so, these pants cost me…oh…a big ol’ 40 cents!

even as the days get colder, shorter & windier, i’m really happy that camel is going to be a BIG color for fall. i still have tons of camel-colored clothes (like these pants) from the LAST time that camel was the new black, so i’m kind of all set in that regard. the only wish i still have left is a proper camel poncho or shawl. since i can’t find the one that h&m teases us with mercilessly on their commercials, i may just have to knit one myself!

whaaaaaat? me in pants??? well, it *is* a holiday weekend after all. even i need a casz break every now & again :) plus it’s the coolest weather that it’s been all week…just perfect in the 70s. i’ll be out after dark, so this t-shirt is fine, but i know my legs will get colder later :)

as far as pants go, i *obvs* don’t wear them very much. however these that i found fairly recently are just about the most perfect pants i own. i think the high waist is more flattering & they taper at the ankles *just* right, so i have a bit of loose drape to be comfy, but not too drapey that they go into harem pants territory. plus, they have pockets!!! i’m planning a trip to the philippines & i’m DEFINITELY bringing these to have replicated in all kinds of colors & fabrics!

it’s a nice warm day too & i can’t believe i’m wearing pants…black ones at that! however, i was lucky to find these harem pants that really fit great, drape well & i just LOVE! even MDH, who never comments on what i wear anymore (he’s just used to the fabulosity *all* the time…hahahaha…JKLOL). anywho, he even made a comment on how great these pants looked on me. whoa…

pants again? i have a relatively light day which is why i’m running some errands, like getting a dress altered which involves having to try it on & having the seamstress pin around, hence wanting the ease of pants & not fussing with tights. can’t wait for the day when i can finally ditch the tights for the next few months…c’mon spring!
