another very casual, lazy day at my in-laws house. i’m actually behind my FIL’s studio which is a converted barn (he’s a sculptor). the weather is great down here in PA…just a few degrees warmer than MA makes a big difference in being able to wear a simple knit dress :)

it’s been a great weekend…taking my in-laws & other friends to a great BBQ restaurant owned by MDH’s childhood friend, having a casual dinner & visiting with MDH’s grandma (who is going to be 99 years old…wowza!), enjoying my FIL’s homemade apple pie (from the apple tree in the back lot area) & just lazing about with the dogs (my peenut & their daisy) on the back porch. ahhhhh…lazy last days of summer :(

i’m in philly again visiting my in-laws for the eleventi-BILLIONTH time this summer :) can’t complain…there are family friends visiting & our other friends in the area…and we’re ALL about to head out to dinner this absolutely gorgeous evening!

i hope i didn’t blind anybody on the sidewalks or driving their cars while i went about my day today. i just really like the color combo of chartreuse & gray for some reason. plus gave me the excuse to wear my marnis *maybe* one last time this season. although even though the patent leather matched my marnis, i probably could’ve done away with the thick belt. i’m too short-waisted to wear such wide belts, but i can’t help it! i just love this belt.
