  4. ↔ × → despite my previous fear, these popular jessica simpson platforms are actually quite comfy to walk in. i went around chinatown with uneven pavement, cobblestones & dodging fish gut-smelling puddles quite well :) i think the key is that they are so wide. i have some platform wedges that are more skinny, so those i have trouble keeping balance & tend to wobble from side to side.

  6. ↔ × → so i had already mentioned my fascination with frances rivera’s wardrobe during boldfacers “stylemakers” pop up store. look, i was even caught photographed on stuff magazine’s gallery. what i loved about frances’ rack (like i can be so familiar, i’m on a first name basis…hahaha), she used what looks like her personal note cards as the price tags. the other stylistas did the usual lame little pieces of paper. now, i feel i even have a personal note from ms. rivera along with her jacket. it’s a two-fer!

  7. ↔ × → MDH always compliments me on how nice i look (thank you, dear), but he rarely makes specific comments, so when he noticed & said he liked the little “nubbies” on this jacket, it made me smile :) i also added this UO ring that was on mad clearance to go along with the nubby, textured kinda theme.

  8. ↔ × → alas…’twas not meant to be :( frances rivera donated a lot of pretty jackets & dresses, but no YSL cage lovelies. s’ok…they would have still been crazy mad expensive. i got to at least meet her, right? no, struck out again. i don’t know why i thought she would have been there. she’s doing the news…DUH!

  9. ↔ × → i tell you what though…frances rivera has exquisite taste in jackets :) very tailored, very fitted, very nice details like ruffles & ribbons. plus they fit me to a T! even the sleeves are perfect in length. hmmmm…i couldn’t have her shoes. would i be satisfied with her jackets? i dunno. i’ll still be on the lookout for those YSLs…teeheehee!
