  1. ↔ × → you see…my reasoning is that even as unpleasant cold can feel, you can still bundle up a lot for outside if you do it properly. plus nothing feels better than wrapping yourself in a big ol’ blanket & plopping yourself on the couch to watch some TV when you feel cold. when you feel hot, you can only get undressed so much & then sitting around doing nothing & sweating your *balls* off…it’s just not fun…for me at least.

  5. ↔ × → i actually didn’t mean to get so dressed up today. the day started off still drizzly & dreary. however, i find it easiest to just put on a dress & go. i don’t know how other people do it…matching shirts with pants, keeping the shirt tucked in, it’s too much for me! friends think i put a lot of effort into dressing up, when really dresses are the ultimate lazy woman’s wear. guess that means i’ll be wearing a lot of housecoats or muu-muus when i’m old…hahaha!

  9. ↔ × → i was surprised these boots held up fairly well all day. i was mostly on my feet, walking around, sitting down now & again. my feet didn’t start hurting until around 4:00 when we headed over to SOWA market to get some grub from the food trucks! i gots me a lovely grilled melted brie & apple sammich & an apple cider. mmmmmm…

  12. ↔ × → guess i just couldn’t wait to wear these boots from christian siriano for payless. i *finally* have a proper pair of rain boots. they’re everything awesome…faux crocodile embossed pattern, shiny black patent rubber, knee high instead of that weird mid-calf height. plus they were 20% off since it’s my birthday month :)

  14. ↔ × → these boots are all kinds of awesomeness…i just love them.  the knee high length, the super crazy 5-3/4 inch heels, the STRAPS…oh the lovely straps! my only regret with these boots? that i didn’t get them in taupe as well O.O if there’s any weakness i have for the fall weather & maybe that’s why i may never move away from the new england area is my weakness for knee high boots. i would love to move back to hawaii, but i would look ridiculous wearing these around in the land of rubbah slippahs.
