  3. ↔ × → this is my new favorite blazer for fall. it&#8217;s navy, so sorry for the B&amp;W photo, but i will feature it in full color i&#8217;m sure some time soon. it&#8217;s 3/4 sleeves so it&#8217;ll be great for layering or wearing with elbow length black leather gloves. it&#8217;s tailored, so works with even the most conservative outfits. it&#8217;s just another great foundation piece for my closet :)

  4. ↔ × → so, i didn&#8217;t wake up in a polka dot kinda mood, but i got this blouse in the spring &amp; couldn&#8217;t figure out a way to wear it. by itself, it&#8217;s a bit *much*&#8230;almost clownish. so, i had to wait for a cold, dreary day like this when i could throw a blazer over it &amp; tone it down. not bad&#8230;not bad&#8230; polka dot blouse:  church rummage sale black leather shorts:  ebay blazer:  filene&#8217;s basement tights:  target mary jane platforms:  forever 21

    so, i didn’t wake up in a polka dot kinda mood, but i got this blouse in the spring & couldn’t figure out a way to wear it. by itself, it’s a bit *much*…almost clownish. so, i had to wait for a cold, dreary day like this when i could throw a blazer over it & tone it down. not bad…not bad…

  5. ↔ × → unfortunately, i didn&#8217;t want the rain to ruin my new platforms, so i had fun stomping about the house for a while, but switched out to proper boots once it was time to leave. hopefully i can get better pictures of these monster heels when the dry weather returns which i think is tomorrow :)

  10. ↔ × → i&#8217;m so happy i already have so many glorious flowers blooming in my garden&#8230;early spring tulips have already come up. the bleeding heart plant is filling out nicely. lilacs should be coming soon. in early summer, the siberian iris &amp; double white peonies are my heart&#8217;s pride &amp; joy. can&#8217;t wait to take some pretty pictures of them :)

  13. ↔ × → so, they say don&#8217;t wear horizontal stripes because it makes you look wider. how to remedy that? just stand next to vertical stripes. the myriad of contrasting lines will dizzy the eye &amp; you&#8217;ll look blurry instead&#8230;bwahahaha :)
