  2. × surprise, surprise…another necklace. this has a feather design that i thought kept with the girly, flirty theme along with the big ass bow on my dress. hahahahaha :) jennine just talked about how you dress up for thanksgiving on her blog. i definitely go for comfort, but don’t want to be slovenly either. these easy little touches like a statement necklace or an embellished t-shirt dress do the trick :)

  6. × so, i’m wearing a strapless sundress but scrunched down so it’s more a high-waisted skirt & the bodice looks more like a belt. i’m also wearing my bebe pumps that yes, i know, they look like the YSL tributes. however you feel on the debate of high end/low end designer copycats, i am *personally* grateful i don’t have to pay $800 for 6-inches of towering gloriousness!

  8. × speaking of big ass necklaces :) i bought this from miz punkystyle herself when i finally met her at the design hive market earlier this month. she’s soooo sweet & easy to talk to. i always get flustered meeting URL friends IRL, so i love it when they’re just as cool in person!!!

  9. × it’s a bittersweet week coming up for me. i love that thanksgiving is around the corner, but a worker friend will also be moving to atlanta. i’m excited in that there are 2 going away dinners planned for her (one more intimate & one gigantic one), but in less than a week, she’ll be up & out. today was my last massage with her :(
